Preface
I am very glad to publish this health bulletin of Civil Surgeon Office, Narayanganj . This bulletin contains all the health related information of 2012 . this bulletin is published to disseminate the health information of Narayanganj to other department and development partners of health . I hope all the infomation of this bulletin wll help for planning and bringing the gaps in health services of this Civil surgeon office, Narayanganj .The bulletin contains the status of MDG 4 and MDG 5 Which will help to attain the MDG targets . This health bulletin has also the information of safe drinking water and sanitation status of the District . We are serving people with our all available resources, But our health staff are not sufficient for these large population . All the sanctioned and vacant posts are published in this bulletin of 2014 . Important information and necessary issues for Narayanganj Civil Surgeon Office More then 28 lac people live in Narayanganj Distrect . Total Land area of Narayanganj District 759 sq km . Officially there are three 20 beded hospital and we have 12 Union Sub Center But in physically there are no structure of 20 beded hospital . We Have no large Conference room for monthly meeting and other program . So we face serious problem . Our Honorable prime minister Sheikh Hasina declared to make digital Banglaedsh, we are contributing to reach that go al ( digaital Bantgladesh) in Narayanganj District. We proposed for 100 Beded Genaral Hospital to be upgraded into 250 Beded Hospital. We also proposed for extention of Civil Surgeon office building and construction of quarter for 3rd and 4th class employee of General Hospital and Civil Surgeon office. It is very much needed to constructe One 20 Beded Hospital in Alirteck Union which is hard to reach area under sadar Upazila. The high authority should take necessary steps to solve these problems .
