Preface
This is my great pleasure to publish this HEALTH BULLETIN 2015 of District Narsingdi . This bulletin contains all the health related information of 2014. It is published to disseminate the information of district to other department and development partners of health .For health bulletin we gather data from wide range of sources across the district .The health managers .officers and health staff at the head and subordinate offices and health facilities and the fields , all were engaged to make huge data available, analyze them and prepare reports . I hope all the information of this bulletin will be helpful for planning and bridging the gaps in the health services of this district . This is an important publication and we use it as our reference of health data . we use health bulletin to understand how much progress we made in the past year in the health sector . we also understand through this bulletin where we made little progress , where we need to pay more attention and where we could do better . The health bulletin 2015 will contribute to improving transparency about health issues of the country . The bulletin contains the status of MDG-4 & MDG-5 which will help to locate the MDG targets. The sanctioned and vacant posts are published in this bulletin . I like to take attention of the higher authority to look after this burning issue .I always belive that there is enough scope for perfection in the future health bulletin. I hope in future we can publish health bulletin 2015 by timely generation and dissemination of quality data by the help of valuable comment & suggestion from your side and MOHFW & MIS -Health. I express my sincere thanks to Professor Dr. Abul Kalam Azad, Additional director general (planning & development ) and Line director of MIS Health for providing his moral support . Important information and necessary issues for Narsingdi Civil Surgeon Office
In the year 2014 we could not give maximum effort to improve the health status due to many reasons. I like to mention some important factors which will help us to bring good result in future. (1) the vacant post should be filled up immediately. (2) IMCI Training is necessary for Physicians, Nurses and SACMOs. (3) All the reparable equipments should be repaired as soon as possible. So,We are very glad to write this Health Bulletin of 2015. Because these documents will help us to compare our progress in coming years. It will also be helpful for people to understand health services and to provide us the useful advice for the improvement in future activities of our community.
