Important information and necessary issues for Netrokona Civil Surgeon Office
Local Health Bulletin is a new concept in health sector towards digital Bangladesh vision 2021. We appreciate and express a lot of thanks for taking initiatives in this regard for gathering knowledge and taking decision about health related problems from existing health facilities. GOB &.NON-GOB (WHO, UNICEF, GAVIHSS, WORLD RENEW-SUSOMA, PARI DEVELOPMENT TRUST, SATHI etc.) are working together to perform in MDG-4 & MDG-5 to meet the targets. It will help in reducing gaps between Planning and execution of facilities and weaknesses could be properly Identified and steps towards correction should be easier. Here I like to mention some important factors which will help us to achieve good results in future. (1) The vacant post of H.R should be filled immediately. (2) Doctors, nurses and paramedics need more training (3) Adhunic Sadar Hospital (that is District Hospital) is 100 bedded. Bed occupancy rate is 180.62. So the incomplete infrastructure of this Hospital is a burning issue to this District. (4) Numbers of community clinics and the bed capacity of the district hospital as well as upazila health complexes should be increased. (5) All the repairable equipment's should be repaired as soon as possible. I think a govt. medical college hospital should be established as soon as possible & that is the demand of the time as well as demand of the people of Netrokona. Finally I am very happy to write this local health bulletin of 2015 because this document will help us to compare our progress in upcoming years. This is very useful document and will help the public to understand health services and to provide us the useful advice for improvement in future.
