Important information and necessary issues for Netrokona District Hospital
Last year we could not provide our maximum efforts to improve the health status due to many reasons. Here I like to mention some important approaches which will help us to achieve good results in future. 1. The vacant Consultant, MO, EMO, Dental Surgeon posts should be field immediately. 2. There is no Sanction post for Ward Master, Statistician, Security Guard, Mali, Ward Boy, Aya. So we need more Cleaners, Security Guard, Mali, Aya, Ward Master, Which can be managed from out sourcing fund if available. 3. All the repairable equipments should be repaired as soon as possible. 4. Infrastructure of the hospital is not yet established completely. Incomplete Infrastructure for 100 bedded hospital should be completed on urgent basis. 5. We need 100 bed staff strength. Currently we have organogram for 50 bed hospital. We have diet allocation for 100 bed capacity. Depending on the Bed Occupancy Rate and Average length of hospital stay, I request to increase the hospital capacity up to 250 bed. Finally I am very happy to write this Health Bulletin of 2015 because this document will help us to compare our progress in upcoming years. This is a very useful document and will help the public to understand health services and to provide us the useful advice for improvement in future. Urgent steps should be taken to complete the infrastructure of the hospital.
