Preface
Welcome to Dhanbari health bulletin 2015. I am very glad to publish this health bulletin of Dhanbari upazila. This bulletin contains all the health related information of 2014. This bulletin is published to disseminate the information of Dhanbari upazila to other department and development partners of health. I hope all the information of this bulletin will help for planning and bridging the gaps in health services of this upazila. Goverment health office has many data stored in the file. This health bullrtin will help us to find constrains and also to see the result and achievements of 2014. The bulletin contains the status of MDG4 and MDG5 which will help to localised the MDG targets. The health bulletin has also information on safe drinking water and sanitation status of the upazila. All the sanctioned and vacant posts are published in this bulletin of 2014. I like to take attention of the higher authority to look into this issue. Finally I would like to congratulate the initiator of the health bulletin software for setting us one step ahead toward Digital Bangladesh.

Important information and necessary issues for Dhanbari Upazila Health Complex
Dhanbari upazila health complex has not any Indoor facility. We have provide outdoor & emergency health service in a rented house. Last 18/12/2012 we had started our emergency health service in the morning & evening shift with in the limited facility. Last year we could not give our maximum efforts to improve the health status due to many reasons. Here I like to mentioned some important factors which will help us to achieve good result in future. 1. 50 beded own UHC building (Hospital & Staff quaters) have already been constructed and handed over. By over coming some constrains like sanctions of sweeper & security guard post, supply electricity & water supply if-should start immediately to give better health service. 2. Our doctors, nurse and SACMO need more training on IMCI & EOC. 3. USC, UH&FWC and Community Clinic facility should be increased. 4. We have some female HA who need CSBA training. Finally I am very happy to write this health bulletin of 2015 because this document will help us to compare our progress in upcoming years. This is very useful document and help the public to understand health service and to provide us the useful advice for improvement in future.
