I am very glad to publish this Health Bulletin of Tangail District for the year-2015. This Health Bulletin contains all health related data of 2014. This Bulletin is published to disseminate information to related Govt. Officials, NGOs & development partners. I hope it will be helpful for planning & identify gaps to achieve health target. It may be treated as milestone to achieve MDG4 & MDG5. I would like for kind attention for higher authority to look into this issue. Important information and necessary issues for Tangail Civil Surgeon Office
There are some special programmes in Tangail which are as follows: 1. Social Health Insurance Programme : Named as S.S.K. (Shastha Surakkha Karmasuchi).is going to start as pilot programme in three upazilas namely- Kalihati, Ghatail & Modhupur and 250 Bedded General Hospital as referral hospital. 2. TMNCP - (Tangail Maternal and Neoborn Child Health Program ) in three upazilas- Nagarpur, Bashail & Shakhipur and 250 Bedded General Hospital as referral hospital with wel established Special Care Neoborn Unit (SCANU). 3. MASKUKA- working on maternal & child health in two upazilas- Bhuapur & Gopalpur. 4. Demand Side Financing (DSF) in two upazilas namely- Shakhipur & Mirzapur. 5. Comprehensive Emergency Obstetric Care (CEOC) in four Upazilas- Shakhipur, Modhupur, Nagarpur & Gopalpur. 6. Survey on Autism in Modhupur Upazila under Tangail district. 7. Community Clinic: Service of Community Clinic is rising day by day. At present 64% of total patients is getting service from Community Clinic & rest 36% is getting service from all other facilities.
