Preface
I am very glad to publish this health bulletin of Hathazari upazila.This bulletin contains all the health related information of 2014. This bulletin is published to disseminate the information to other department and development partners of health. I hope all the information of this bulletin will help planning and bridging the gaps in health services of this upazila. This health bulletin will help us to find constrains and also to see the results and achievements of 2014. The bulletin contains the status of MDG 4 and MDG 5, which will help to localize the MDG targets. This health bulletin has also the information on safe drinking water and sanitation status of the upazila. All the sanctioned and vacant posts were published in this bulletin of 2014. I like to draw attention of the higher authority to look into this issue. Finally I would like to congratulate the initiator of the health bulletin software for setting us one step ahead toward Digital Bangladesh.

Important information and necessary issues for Hathazari Upazila Health Complex
Health Bulletin is the mirror of a health institution. Activities in the hospital & achievements are included in the bulletin.NMR, IMR & MMR are the important area for achieving the MDG4 & MDG5, which are the main focus in the bulletin. Due to unavoidable circumstances the data of NMR, IMR, MMR are not collected properly from the field. There is a big difference between collected data in the field & national data. Here I would like to mention some important constraints of these UHC. Such as 1) Female CHCP & HA need CSBA training 2) All staff quarters be repaired. 3) Vacant post of Anesthetist must be filled up. I hope by overcoming the above mentioned constraints we do better in near future.
