Important information and necessary issues for Juraichari Upazila Health Complex
Countless necessary and burning issues have been compiled together for Jurachari Upazila Health Complex . 1. The main burning issue and problem of UHC is the building infrastructure. UHC building is so old and out of order that, it may collapse at any time and may pay some lives at any time . In the rainy season almost all rooms get wet by water from the roof. Lots of cracks and holes are in the wall floor of whole building. In one word it is uninhabitable and irreparable as well. The same condition apply to Doctors and others staffs quarters . 2. Health service delivery at UHC is some what difficult due to scarcity of rooms. 3. Post of Junior Consultants remained vacant for a long time. 4. Many surgical operations and EmOc activities could not be provided due to lack of trained manpower and logistic. 5. We have very limited laboratory services . 6. Though radiology is a necessary service. We have no Radiology Unit. 7. Due to very poor internet network service at Jurachari we can not receive and send necessary information in time. So on line activities could not be executed in due time. 9. We have achieved 98% EPI coverage in 2014 which is quite satisfactory. 10. Though Community Clinic services are quite satisfactory. Existing 03 (three) CC are not sufficient for providing necessary service in whole upazila. 11. One of the important issues is the Electricity problem. Due to frequent interrupted power supply hospital service and official activities could not be done properly. 12. There is no water supply system in UHC, which is very necessary. There are some important issues which are main constrains for providing good health services. So we are looking forward to paying special attention by the higher authority on flowing matters for better health service in this upazila . a) Immediate construction of a new UHC building. b) Providing generator. c) Arranging water supply at UHC. c) Expanding of CC services in all wards.
