Bogra Civil Surgeon Office | Health Bulletin 2015 |
Preface
This is of my great pleasure to publish this Health Bulletin containing different health related information and some important indicators of health services of Bogra district. The indicators, especially those for neonatal and maternal mortality; which have been published here will not represent the existing national figure because of unavailability of information and data particularly from the communities. As the initiatives for collecting data are going on, henceforth data collection will be strengthened and ultimately actual figure will be available very soon.
I would like to congratulate the initiation of the health bulletin software for setting a current data based health services in Bangladesh. And at the same time I felt honored to be a part of this new era of health services. My heartfelt thanks to MIS, DGHS, Bangladesh, for this time demanding initiative.

Important information and necessary issues for Bogra Civil Surgeon Office
Important information and necessary issues for Bogra Civil Surgeon Office:
As Bogra is a very old and large district to ensure proper health services in the district, I would like to draw attention of my higher authorities and all concerned on the following issues :
1.All vacant posts and supporting staff should be filled immediately .
2. Residence of Civil Surgeon which was declared condemn to be repaired on urgent basis .
3. Condition of vehicle for Civil Surgeon is very poor with no air conditioning system, it should be replaced soon.
4. DRS should be extended with proper ventilation in confined premises.
5. There is no guest room in our sector in the district,so provision of at least two guest rooms(with one VIP) to be created to meet the need of different situations.
6. Training of doctors and other staff is needed to ensure proper and updated health services.
7. Funding of different programs in district level to be available duly and properly.
Finally, I want to give thanks to all who were involved to make this bulletin published.I hope with our maximum efforts and cooperation from all levels, we will give better health services to population.
Thank you all.
Dr. Ardhendu Deb
