Preface
This Bulletin contains the health related information of 2014. This Bulletin is published to disseminate the health informations of gomastapur upazila to other departments and development partners of Health. I hope all the information of this Bulletin will help in planning and bridging the gaps in health services of this upazila. This Health Bulletin will help us to see the results and achievements of 2014. The Bulletin contains the status of MDG-4 and MDG-5 which will help to localize the MDG targets. This health Bulletin has also the information on safe drinking water and sanitation status of the upazila. All the sanctioned and vacant posts are published in this bulletin. I like to draw the attention of the higher authority to look into this issue.We Have infrastructure and beds for 50 bed hospital but no financial sanction and man power posts required to run 50 bed hospital. Even then we have started 50 bed facility here since 01.11.2014. Due to our sincere effort and service, number of patients are increasing day by day. Hope, higher authority will be kind enough to solve this problem immediately.

Important information and necessary issues for Gomastapur Upazila Health Complex
We are very glad to complete the Health Bulletin of Gomastapur Upazilla. Hope the Appropriate Authority will be kind enough to give financial approval and man power organogram for 50 bed hospital as soon as possible, so that we can provide better health care to the people of Gomastapur.
