Preface
It`s my great pleasure to open this health bulletin of Kurigram district . Publication of district health bulletin is one of the most significant events in the health service delivery system at this district. It is an important step forward which can help for planning and implementation of community -friendly health program . This bulletin not only contains the health related information of the district but also a document that needs to fix the criteria for further planning of achieving the MDG targets. I would like to thank to my colleagues of Kurigram district administration and officers & staffs of all health complex, district for helping me a lot to complete this work. Important information and necessary issues for Kurigram Civil Surgeon Office
The most important information is that own district is the right track of acheiving the target of MDG 4 & 5 . It is very essential to fill up the shortage manpower & equipment. Honorable PM Shaikh Hasina declared upgradation district hospital to 250 bed from 100 bed and the constriction of other administrative activities are going on full pace..10 bedded Roygong RD ,Nageswari, Kurigram is now non functioning but Outdoor functioning.Internet speed of Kurigram district is very slow.Electricity problem in UHC & all CC. Manpower Shortage in UHC. District Hospital Management Committee meeting held regularly. Hospital authority and officer sits regularly to improve service quality and better management policy. not sufficient doctors of other UHC in the district.Thanks All.
