Preface
The Health Population and Nutrition Sector Development Program (HPNSDP) has been initiated by The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Bangladesh for a period of five years from July 2011 to June 2016. There are 32 Operational Plans (OPs). Health Information Systems and e-Health (HIS-EH) one of them.I am delighted that the Local Health Bulletin is going to be published from The Office of Civil Surgeon Lalmonirhat.This Health Bulletin is the year of 2015 and there are available data for the period of January 2014 to December 2014. It is expected that this Health Bulletin will help us to understand progressing trend. From this lesson, we would be benefited achieving the Goal. I hope that The facility Specific data will guide and help the policy makers and other concerned to take future step in improving the Health Services.I like to thank all who were involved in developing and editing The Health Bulletin and Special thanks to MIS, DGHS for providing technical and financial support.

Important information and necessary issues for Lalmonirhat Civil Surgeon Office
(1) Lalmonirhat District Hospital is Women Friendly Hospital.
(2) Inadequqte doctor posting, specially Sr. Consultant, Jr. consultant.
(3) Lalmonirhat District Hospital is Comprehensive EmOC facilities. 24/7 EmOC Services are available but Sesearian section done 8.00 a.m.to 2.30 p.m.in the district hospital.
(4) Inadequate Cleaner, Aya, Secuirity guard and other supporting staff in the district hospital.
(5) Most of the Community Clinic in various Upazila should be repair for the betterment of Community Health Service.
(6) District Hospital situated in one side of the district and distance of the Upazila like 12 kms, 35 kms, 65 kms, 85 kms from the district.
(7) Hard to reach area Dahogram-angorpota 10 beded hospital about 120 kms from the district and doctor posted here.
(8) Most of people are not aware about ANC, PNC and institutional delivery.
(9) In the year 2014 we have received three computer, one laptop & one PDA from MIS for Civil Surgeon Office.
