Preface
Bangladesh is one of the most densely populated and disaster affected countries in the world. Nawabganj upazila is not an exception. It is situated in southest part of the Dinajpur district. It is placed in the west side of the upazila Pirganj of the Rangpur district.It was very challenging to provide health service among this population.Inspite of this challenging upazila has made improved progress in health and human development. In this upazila safe mother for excellent performance with maternal health.
Despite progress in comprehensive essential obstructive case several many other health indications have need to be to provide health service to the population we are facing several contridiction - notable scarcity of man power. 80% of posts of Doctors are vaccant. To improved and sustained progress it is essential to filled up the vaccant post immediately. To improve child servival and maternal health consultant post of Gynae and obs and paediatrics can should be filled up.Medical equipment and logistic support should be continued in a timely fashion. Repearable instrument should be repeared immediatly. Doctors and Nurses need more training on IMCI, Communicable and non- Communicable diseases. Number of Nurses with experienced person is required for improving the health development of the local people. Otherwise the improvement of health service is not possible. Moreover the development of health service is not avaiable as manpower like ward boy and Sweeper post has to be filled up immediatly otherwise Emergency service can not provide properly. In this area is scattered and densely populated. The people of this upazila are not well educated. This upazila consists of 9 Unions, populations is 2,15,823. Though this upazila is scattered and not so good communications- there are several historic and amuging places in this upazila. Such as SAUPNAPURI, ASULIARBIL,SITARCOURT,SHALBON (National Garden).

Important information and necessary issues for Nawabganj Upazila Health Complex
We have 31 beded hospital & 50 beded development work is under construction. The construction work started from 26.09.2010 and they completed 74% of work.Then the work permit of the contructor was cancelled on 02.12.2012.Now the construction work is totally stopped.
We are able to overcome all obstacles and hesitation through our destination of peoples health service in NAWABGANJ health complex . Limited post of Doctors, Nurses and all other staffs in our hospital- we successfully done our dutys properly past year 2012 and this is running on . The people of surrounded area of this health complex - pleased to our duties which was delivered through out of the year 2012 . I am always concious to every staff service to the people of this upazila . National leaders, alieds, patients , journalists and all catagory of local persons are pleased to our services which delivered in 2012 . Our performance and progress are always beneficial to lower progressive people . Because of our profession is always sacrificed and devoted to the poor and ruined people and this is our present and future moto . So, in future it is my promise that I and with my staffs sacrificed our all efforts and dignity only for poor patients in this local area . This is only I always want help from my higher authorities to regulate and manage this health complex . I also want useful advice from my authorities to provide proper health services to the public in coming days . THANKS .
