Preface

Thanks to almighty God that we have published the Health Bulletin of Keraniganj Upazila which contains all the health related information of 2016. This bulletin is published to disseminate the information of Keraniganj Upazilla to other line department and development partners of health.I hope all the information of this bulletin will help for planning and bridging the gaps in health services of this upazila. It will help us to find constrains and also to see the results and achievements of 2016. The bulletin contains the status of MDG-4 and MDG-5 which will help to localize the MDG targets. It also contains the information on safe drinking water and sanitation status of the upazilla. All the sanctioned and vacant post are published in this bulletin. I like to draw attention of the higher authority about this. Important information and necessary issues you want to raise
In Keraniganj UHC, there is no space for nutrition corner, breast feeding corner, NCD corner, ORT corner and adolescent health corner, We urgently need to build five rooms for this purpose. We already have sent proposal to HED for this. For promoting EPI & releted services vacant posts of HA ,AHI & HI to be filled urgently. Consultant rooms for medicine, surgery & anesthesia are needed. Another room is needed for store. I like to draw kind attention of higher authority to take immediate steps for the solution of above mentioned problem.
