Preface

Many many Thanks to DGHS for establishing the "Health Bulletin" in time. Through the health bulletin people from any corner of the world get to know the real picture of health services provided from Nagarkanda Upazila health complex and its subordinate health facilities like sub-centers and community clinics in the year 2015. Health Sectors are doing works with different issues such as in population control, maternal and child health, and nutrition, safe drinking water and sanitation through which we achieve MDG. This health bulletin will help simultaneously to know the health related achievements of Nagarkanda Upazila and pinpoint the deficits. Important information and necessary issues you want to raise
Last year we could not give our maximum efforts to improve the health status due to many reasons. Here we like to mention some important factors which will help us to achieve good results in future. 01 Repair of community clinic and backup electricity with generator is very essential. 02. The vacant posts should be filled immediately. 03. Our doctor, SACMO and nurse need more training on IMCI. 04. We need to start EMOC services immediately. 05. We need a well equipped store room. 06. We need a separate stomach wash room because of huge number of poisoning patients. 07. We need one MT (lab). One MT (Radio) and Pharmacist immediately. 08. A photo copy Machine to maintain official documents. 09. All the repairable equipment should be repaired as soon as possible. 10. For running Ambulance we need sufficient budget for the purchase of tier, battery etc. Finally I am very happy to come up with this health bulletin 2015 because this documents will help us to monitor our progress in upcoming years. This is very useful document and will help the public to understand health services and to provide us the useful advice for improvement in future.
