Preface

Muksudpur Upazila, Gopalgonj, is a large upazila of 17 Unions. The area of the Upazila is about 309 sq.km. The Upazila health complex along with field level infrastructure is giving health service to about 2 lac and 97 thousands people by a dedicated group of health staff with the motto 'RENDERING OF SERVICE IS OUR MEDITATION', To prepare a local Health Bulletin is difficult. There may be some mistakes which I think everybody will forgive. This Bulletin shows all the data related to health service of the Muksudpur Upazila. The construction for 50 bed hospital was completed on 17 June /2011 and handed over to the authority. But the logistic supply and budget allocation for 50 bed Hospital has not yet been established . The man power for 50 bed hospital not yet posted . So the hospital is running with logistic, budget and manpower of 31 bed hospital . The average bed occupancy rate of this hospital on 31 bed calculation for the year 2015 is 171%. So, this hospital needs immediate all arrangement for 50 bed.This is an urgent necessity for the locality.
