Preface

Tungipara is a very important Upazilla in Gopalganj District. Our great Leader,The Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman,was born here.The honorable Prime Minister of Bangladesh,Sheikh Hasina declared Tungipara UHC 31 bedded on 14 November 1997.The UHC was Upgraded From 31 bedded to 50 bedded hospital on 1st July 2011. The area of the Upazilla is about 127.25sq.km. It is my great pleasure to publish the Health Bulletin 2017.This Bulletin contains all the Health related information 2016.I hope it will help for planning and bridging the gaps in health services of the Upazilla.I believe, it will draw attention of the higher authority to fulfill the vacant post. Finally,I like to extend my thanks to the initiator of Health Bulletin Software for setting up one step ahead toward Digital Bangladesh.

We want to inform that our hospital complex building (Main building) is damaged by earth Quechua in 4th January - 2016.
