Preface

It is a pleasure for us in publishing this health bulletin of Bakshiganj 2016 which contain different health related data about health service system in Bakshiganj upazilla of the year 2015.Bakshiganj is situated on the north end of Jamalpur district.Bakshiganj thana was turned into an upazilla in 1982.This is the smallest upazilla in Jamalpur district.The upazilla consists of 7 union parishads,25 mouzas,and 196 villages.Dhanua kamalpur,played a important role in the liberation war in 1971 is situated at the north end of this upazilla,which is near to the indian border. Bakshiganj has some places for visit or tour including the locally famous Louchapra picnic spot.There are some houses there where you can enjoy a lot of undiscovered hills,with in a touch of very simple local tribal people.We cordially invite you to visit the picnic spot and also our health complex. I think this health bulletin software is a great step in digitailsation of our health sector ,with a view to achieve a digital Bangladesh.
