Preface

I am very glad to publish this Health Bulletin of Hossainpur Upazila. This bulletin contains all the health related information of 2015 of Hossainpur Upazila, which will help us planning, monitoring, evaluation and implementation of Health Program of Bangladesh. This bulletin also contains status of MDG-4 & MDG-5 which will help to localize the MDG targets. This Health Bulletin has also the information about safe drinking water & sanitation of Hossainpur Upazila. All the sanctioned & vacant post are published here. I like to draw attention of the higher authority to look into this issue. Important information and necessary issues you want to raise
Last year we could not give our maximum efforts to improve the health status due to many reasons. Here I like to mention some important factors which will help us to achieve good results in future. 1) Infrastructure of this hospital should be modernized. 2) Number of CC should be increased. 3) All the repairable instrument and furniture should be repaired as soon as possible. 4) The vacant post should be filled immediately. 5) Our doctors, SACMO, field staff and CHCP need more training on IMCI, Nutrition, Sanitation, Safe motherhood, Adolescent and reproductive health, Arsenic, ARI, EPI, AIDS and STD, Diarrhoeal diseases etc. I am very happy to write this Health Bulletin of 2016 because this document will help us to compare our progress in upcoming years. This is very useful document and will help the public to understand the health services and provide us the useful advice for improvement in future.
