Preface

Over the last few years, Bangladesh made tremendous progress in the health sector. Health bulletin publication is one of the corner stone in establishing digital Bangladesh in respect of health sector. This is a great pleasure of mine to publish the health bulletin of Daulatpur Upazila. This bulletin is, in fact, a yearbook that helps us understand what we have done in the past year(s) and what remains to be done. All the health related information of 2015 is contained in this health bulletin. This bulletin disseminates the health related information regarding Daulatpur Upazila to other line department and development partners of health. I hope this will help to find the hindrance of providing optimal health services to mass people and thus to plan for future projects. The results, achievements as well as problems of 2015 are reflected in this bulletin. This bulletin contains the present status of MDG 4 and MDG 5 in this upazila and thus hopes to help to find out the nation's MDG status. With these, other information, like - sanctioned and vacant posts in this upazila, safe drinking water and sanitation status are also reflected here. At the end, my hearty congratulation is for the initiator of the health bulletin software, helping us for setting steps ahead toward Digital Bangladesh.
