Preface

I am glad to publish this health bulletin of Harirampur upazila. This bulletin contains all health related information of 2015. This bulletin is published to disseminate the information of Harirampur upazila to other line department and development partners of health.I hope all the information of this bulletin will help for planning and bridging the gaps in health services of this upazila. Government health office has many data stored in the fine.The Health bulletin will help us to find constrains and also to see the results and achievements of 2015. The bulletin contains the status of MDG 4 and MDG 5 which will help to localize the MDG targets. This health bulletin has also the information on safe drinking water and sanitation status of the upazila. All the sanctioned and vacant posts are published in this bulletin of 2015. I like to take attention of the higher authority to look into this issue.Finally I would like to congratulate the initiator of the health bulletin software for setting us one step ahead toward Digital Bangladesh. This is to inform that there is no anesthesiologist in our Hospital. It is an EOC center. We have a Gynecologist. But she cannot perform any obstetrical operation, such as C/S Hence,no of obstetrical case is decreasing day by day. So we draw kind attention to concerned authority to manage an anesthesiologist. In this regard, we would like to draw your kind attention that we, the doctors and other health staffs are suffering from in security in workplace recently , there are some mishaps and physical,assault to doctors and other health staffs during the time of duty in hospital. So necessary steps should be taken to ensure safety and security at workplace of doctors and other health staffs.
