Preface

I am highly delighted to present the Local Health Bulletin of Singair Upazila for the year 2015. This is a comprehensive report on the clinical and administrative performance of this Upazila Health Complex. This bulletin contains the status of MDG-4 and MDG-5 which has already been achieved and look forward to reach the SDG goals. All data have been revised and brought up to date to reflect the health status and disease trends of this upazila during the year 2015. This e-bulletin is a promising option to improve the efficiency and accuracy of data collection process from the grass-root level. I wish to declare my sincere appreciation to all officials who have extended their energy and wisdom generously in providing data. I am also thankful for the valuable services rendered by the staffs of this UHC. I wish to place on record my gratitude to Professor Dr. Abul Kalam Azad (Director, MIS) for his innovative ideas to establish " Digital Bangladesh". We are trying to improve the health status of Singair Upazila. We have improved our data collection system from various department of our hospital & field levels.We are also trying to collect data from private clinics. But we can't do our job 100% due to vacant posts at field levels. All CHCPs & HAs of Upazila Health Complex received laptops & tablets, So we will try to perform better day by day.
