Important information and necessary issues you want to raise
By the year 2015, we gave maximum efforts for the betterment of health status in our upazila and significantly contributed to the emergency obstetric care (EmOC) service at national level. Bhaluka is a kala-azar prone endemic area.Cases are decreasing day by day due to availability of drugs as well as various preventive measures such as early diagnosis and treatment, strengthened epidemiological surveillance, integrated vector management and social mobilization by the Govt.Republic of Bangladesh. Furthermore, laboratory facilities and skill manpower are also available at Bhaluka UHC for screening and early detection of many communicable disease, eg. TB, Malaria and Kala-azar. Beside this, installmentation of indoor Residual spraying (IRS) finished at UHC long ago, which is a part of Kala-Azar elimination programme. I desire to mention few important topics which will help our mission to achieve our vision. There should be a local emergency fund to manage the emergency situation. Our doctors and auxiliary staff needs more training on IMCI,EOC,computer, communicable diseases.Transferring of skilled man power should be stopped without informing local authority, guideline for quality assurance in helth service should be establised and strictly maintained. 3rd and 4th class vacant posts should be occupied for ensuring quality services at UHC. Finally we are very happy to publish this health bulletin of 2015. It will not only help us to evaluate our progression in health sector but also help to compare the standard of provided health servives with other upazila of Bangladesh. By this booklet we have entered into a new arena of digitilazation. ~~~~~~~~~DR.MD.HAFIZUR RAHMAN; UH&FPO~~~~~~~~~~~
