Preface

It is a great pleasure for us to publish health bulletin 2016 of Dhobaura Upazila. It is the most remote Upazila and 60 Km. away from Mymensingh district head quarter.This Upazila is sorround by north Indian border and Garohill,East-Dugapur and Porbadhala Upazila of Netrakuna district,South-Fulpur,west-Haluaghat Upazila of Mymensingh district.This bulletin includes all Health related data of January-December-2015,Specially MDG-4 & MDG-5.The availability of accurate and timely data is essential to monitor the process of health development and evaluate its impact.Nowadays,it is well accepted that up-date information is an important tool for efficient management of all level.The bulletin with more updated information will certainly be very useful to the implementers,administrators, researchers and policy makers. Important information and necessary issues you want to raise
Dhobaura is the most remote Upazila of the district.The communication is not so good.The people of this area is poor and less educated.They have some lack of knowledge about health related issues and practice. Dhobaura is a malaria endemic area.The malaria case is decreasing day by day by taking proper measure and distribution of LLIN and anti malarial drug. Besides this we have some problem, handsome number of doctors and Ist line supervisors post are vacant.we seek kind attention of our respected higher authority of this matter. Finally we are very happy to write this health bulletin of 2016.It will help us to compare our Improvement and progress with other upazila of Bangladesh. This is the documented health bulletin which will be help the people to realize the health status and health services .
