Preface

I am very glad to publish this health bulletin of Trishal Upazila. This bulletin contains all the health related information of this upazila in 2015. This will help us to see the results and achievements of 2015 and to locate the obstacles we faced .The bulletin contains the status of MDG4 and MDG5 which will help to reevaluate the MDG targets and to achieve sustained development goal . It also contains the information on safe drinking water and sanitation status of this upazila. Important information and necessary issues you want to raise
Last year we gave our heartiest efforts to improve the health status of this upazila . We started two new health facility in our health complex . Those are- 1) Ultrasonography and 2) VIA screening test in our hospital. Huge number of patients are turning up for these facility. We also provide treatment of a huge number of patients in outdoor and indoor. But we faced some challenges while doing so. Here I would like to mention some important factors which will help us to achieve good results in future. 1. The vacant posts should be filled immediately. 2. Our health care staffs need more training. 3. All the repairable equipment should be repaired as soon as possible. Finally I am very happy to publish this health bulletin of 2016 because this will help us to compare our progress throughout the year. This is a very useful document and will help the public and policy makers to understand the pros and cons of health services.
