Preface

We are very happy that like every year, we are able to publish health bulletin of Monohardi Upazilla in this year 2016. All health related activities, actions,planning for Improvement of health service of monohardi upazilla are reflected in this bulletin.A 50bed Government hospital, Two 30 bed Private clinics, 05 union sub centers, 10 UH&FWC, 40 Community clinics have been providing health care. About 250 - 300 patients take treatment in outdoor every day, About 40 - 50 patients remain in indoor regularly . MNH,IMCI,Nutrition corner, VIA&CBE,Basic EOC,ANC,PNC,ORTC,NCD services are functioning here. Different Programmes, Projects are running here like Tobacco free model hospital ,Eoc etc. Community clinics provide treatment & give necessary health related advice to the rural people of remote areas. We, all doctors,staffs in this hospital and health workers of all sub centers, field staffs CHCPs are working to improve health status of the people of Monohardi upazila. We are sending health related information, data to higher authority by modern technology. We hope that we will achieve our Target in Vision 2021 in all aspect.

Important information and necessary issues you want to raise
We want to inform that our hospital complex building (Main building) is damaged by earth quake in 4th January - 2016. Reconstruction of hospital complex building is mandatory to continue proper management of health care delivery system . Construction of doctors quarter for 50 bed hospital is urgently needed . A new ambulance is required to continue patient referral system.
