Preface

I am very glad to publish this health bulletin of shibpur Upazila. This bulletin contains all the health related information''s of 2015. This bulletin is published to disseminate the information's of the shibpur Upazila to other line department and development partners of health. I hope all the information's of this bulletin will help for planing and bridging the gaps in health services of this Upazila. Government health office has many data stored in this file. This health bulletin will help us to find constrains and also to see the result and achievements of 2015. The bulletin contains the status of MDG4 and MDG5 which will help to localize the MDG targets. This health bulletin has also the information on safe drinking water and sanitation status of the Upazila. Important information and necessary issues you want to raise
Shibpur Upazilla Health Complex is a 31 beded hospital. It is not CEmOC based. Upgraded 50 beded hospital building has already been handed over but no manpower . We have Outdoor, emergency and indoor Service with ultrasound, ECG, X-ray, Other Lab facilities. Here cesarean section also performed. I hope that people will be interested to get their service from this institution and the number of patients will increase significantly. We have no blood transfusion facilities.
