Preface

I am very glad to publish Barhatta Upazila Health bulletin 2016. This bulletin contains all health related information of 2015 of Barhatta Upazila. This provides information to other Health partners. I hope all the information of this Bulletin will help for planing & filling the gaps in health service of this Upazila. This bulletin contains the status of SDG along with other data which will help to reach SDG targets. This bulletin will help to rearrange the health service status of Barhatta Upazila. It is a complex process to prepare this bulletin by collecting of data of whole year, compiling them & thus presenting in this bulletin. I would like to thank Medical officers, HA, AHI, HI, SI, Statistician & other related persons who have collected data for this bulletin. I also congratulate the initiator of this health bulletin software for making digital health service in Bangladesh.

Important information and necessary issues you want to raise
Hospital complex building (Main building) was damaged by an earthquake in 4th January 2015. Reconstruction of hospital complex building is therefore necessary for the safety of patients and other hospital staff as well. Construction of ambulance garage is urgently needed as that was also partially damaged by the earthquake.
