Preface

We are very much happy to inform that we have published our health bulletin 5th time which contains all the health related data and information of Sarail upazilla. Despite of having limitations e.g. lack of manpower, shortage of modern equipment, we always try to maintain a good health service. The government is committed to extend the health service at the grass root level through the community clinics, thus we are committed to extend our hand to establish a good health service. This health bulletin will help us to find out the limitations along with the results and achievements of the year 2015 containing the status of MDG-4 and MDG-5 that will help us localizing the MDG targets, also the other information including the sanitation and safe drinking water supply status here. Information regarding health services delivering from the community clinics are also reviewed. The HRM data in Sarail'2015 are also published in this bulletin. Finally, we would like to thank everybody who contributed this bulletin, and hoping that this publication will play a great role in improving the health status of Sarail, also to build a healthy Bangladesh.

Important information and necessary issues you want to raise
For the smooth running of the upazila health service shortage of manpower is a bar. It is essential to fill up the post of an anesthesia and Nurses.There are no functional Ambulance in Sarail upazila health complex. At least two Ambulances are necessary to provide good health service. Maximum staff quarters of upazila health complex are damaged and not usable. Urgent Repairing and maintenance of this quarters should be done immediately. requirement of important medical equipment for Health services, such as USG machine, Photocopy machine etc. Finally I would like to thank MIS for successful arrangement of the Local Health Bulletin.
