Preface

I am very glad to publish this health bulletin of Boalkhali Upazila. This bulletin contains all the health related information of 2015. I hope all these information of this bulletin will help for planning and bridging the gaps in health services of the Upazila. This health bulletin will help us to find out the constraints and also to see the results and achievements of 2015. The bulletin contains the status of MDG 4 and MDG 5 which will help to localize the MDG targets.This bulletin has also the information on safe water and Sanitation status of the Upazila. All the sanction and vacant posts are published in this bulletin of 2015. I would like to draw attention of the higher authority to look into these issues.Finally I would like to congratulate the initiator of the health bulletin software for leading us towards one step closer to form Digital Bangladesh.

Important information and necessary issues you want to raise
In this moment to improve health service in Boalkhali Upazila the urgent need is to fill-up the vacant post of Orthopedics & others mentioned post in preface. New Ambulance is needed. If everybody become honest, sincere & patriot in our own profession it is possible to make a healthy nation very soon. Service to mankind, service to god. This should be our slogan to achieve the MDG. For the smooth and proper delivery of health service, its necessary to ensure the presence of doctors, nurses and other staffs in the hospital campus. So, reconstruction of doctor and staff quarter, improvement of hospital environment, ensure security of hospital area, to provide hospital furniture are mandatory. Digital x-ray machine is a demand of time. Enrollment of UHC for EOC, reconstruction of sub centre and community clinics necessary to improve health service to acquire MDG Target.
