Preface

I am very happy to publish this health bulletin of Titas upazila health department. This bulletin contains all the information of 2015 related to health. This bulletin is being published to disseminate the informations regarding health to other line departments and development partners of health. I hope all the informations in this bulletin will help for planning and implementation of the policies in health service of this upazila. This health bulletin will help us to find out the constrains and also to see the results and achievements of the year 2015. The bulletin contains the status of MDG- 4 and MDG-5 which will help us to localize the MDG targets.This health bulletin has also the other health related informations including the sanitation and safe drinking water supply status in this upazila.The informations regarding health services delivering from the community clinics in this upazila is also come into view in this bulletin. All the HRM related informatons in 2015, of this upazila are also published in this bulletin. Finally I like to thank all the concerned in publishing this bulletin and hope that this publication will play a great role in improving the health status of this Upazila in future.

We want to inform that our hospital complex building (Main building) is damaged by earthquake on 4th January - 2016. Reconstruction of hospital complex building is mandatory to continue proper management of health care delivery system . Construction of doctors quarter for 50 bed hospital is urgently needed .
