Preface

I am very glad to publish this local health bulletin of Belaichari Upazila Health Complex. This bulletin contains all the health related informations & activities of Belaichari upazilla of 2017. It has been published to disseminate the information to the higher authority & other development partners of health sector and it will help to know the present status of health service in this upazila which will help also to make a better plan for future development. If we go through it we will be able to find out the prospects and constrains simultaneously. It also contains information on safe drinking water & sanitation status of this Upazila. All the information about sanctioned & vacant posts are showed in this bulletin. I would like to draw attention of the higher authority about our huge man power shortage and limitations of resources . Though Belaichari is a remote area of the Rangamati hill tract, our achievements in health sector is quite promising. So, we are expecting more manpower and logistic support to attain the goals of SDG.

Important information and necessary issues you want to raise
Despite of our maximum effort we could not achieve more because of many obstacles. Here I would like to mention some immediate steps that should be taken for improvization of our services & better achievement in future. 1. The vacant posts should be filled urgently. 2. Our doctors, nurses and associated staffs need more training on mother and child health care.and safe delivery. 3. Ensure our logistic needs such as Xray machine with technologist, Ultrasound machine and essentials. 4. Provide some financial support for transport of Hard to Reach area and promotional allowance and gift materials to all the mothers who take services regularly from ANC1 to PNC with immunization of the baby. 5. Arrange some special allowence to the staffs who performs some exclusive service with utmost sincerity.
