Important information and necessary issues you want to raise
Jurachari Upazila Health Complex which is situated at the remote area of Rangamati Hill Dist is crippling with countless necessary burning issues. 1. The main burning issue of UHC is the hospital building. UHC building is old that it may collapse and pay some valuable lives at any time. In the rainy season almost all rooms get wet by water coming down from the roof. Lots of cracks and holes are in all wall and floor . In one word it is uninhabitable and irreparable as well. The same condition applies to Doctors and others staffs quarters. 2. Another upcoming burning issue is vacant posts of Doctors and SACMOs. Currently 4 doctors are posted. Three doctors will join MD Residency Program soon. One doctor is currently working at Rangamati General Hospital on deputation. Posts of 2 SACMOs are also remaining vacant. So it is quite impossible to provide health service if vacant posts are not filled up immediately. 3. Many minor surgical operations and EmOc activities could not be provided due to lack of trained manpower and logistic. 4. We have very limited laboratory services. 5. We have no Radiology Unit. 6. Due to very poor internet network service at Jurachari we are not well connected with DGHS and other organizations. So on line activities could not be executed on time. 7. Existing three CCs are not sufficient for providing health service at community level. 8. Another important issues is the Electricity problem. Due to frequent interrupted power supply hospital service and official activities could not be done properly. 9. There is no water supply system in UHC. Above mentioned points are some important issues which are main constrains for providing good health services. So we are looking forward to paying special attention by the higher authority on flowing matters for better health service in this upazila . a) Immediate construction of a new UHC building. b) Providing high power solar syatem c) Arranging water supply at UHC. d) Construction of new of CCs.
