Preface

Bangladesh is one of the most densely populated and disaster-prone country in the world. Birampur Upazila is not an exception. Moreover there are many population of tribal origin, namely Tribe. The literacy rate and economical status of the Tribal population are very poor and, it is very challenging to provide health services to this population. In spite of this difficulties Birampur Upazila has made marked progress in health service development. It is a great pleasure that Birampur upazila received National Awards 2012 on safe motherhood for excellent performance on maternal health.

Important information and necessary issues you want to raise
We want to inform that our hospital complex building (Main building) is damaged by storm in 4th January - 2015. Reconstruction of hospital complex building is mandatory to continue proper management of health care delivery system . Construction of doctors quarters for 50 bed hospital is urgently needed . Doctors and nurses need more training on IMCI, communicable and non communicable diseases.
