Preface

I am very glad to publish this health bulletin of Hakimpur Upazila. We have tried to provide all the health related information of 2015. Bulletin is published to disseminate the information of Hakimpur Upazila to other live department and development partners of health. I hope all the information of the bulletin will help for planning and bridging the gaps in health services of this Upazila. Bulletin will help us to find constrains and also to see the result and achievement of 2015. This bulletin contain the status of MDG-4 and MDG-5 which will help to fulfill the MDG targets. This health bulletin will help us all to know the information about safe drinking water and sanitation status of this upazila. All the sanctioned and vacant post are published in this bulletin 2016. I like to take attention of the higher authority to look into the issues. Finally I would like to congratulate the initiator of the health bulletin software which made us one step ahead towards building digital Bangladesh.

Important information and necessary issues you want to raise
Though the health service is in proving day by day but we are facing few problems to give the maximum result. Followings are the main issues that need immediate attention ; 1) All the vacant post need to fill as early as possible. 2) We need more trained Doctors and Nurse specially in IMCI. 3) No of community clinic need to be increased with appropriate trained stuff. 4) Repairable instruments need immediate repair. 5) A new Ambulance required as soon as possible. After all with all these sort of problem. I am very glad to review this health bulletin 2016 as it will help to assess our activity on the up coming years with the best outcome.
