It is our great opportunity and pleasure to let you know that Palashbari Upazilla Health Complex is going to publish “Local Health Bulletin 2016”.We gave our best effort to provide information regarding health related activities of Palashbari Health Department.The bulletin contains the status of MDG 4 and MDG 5 which will help to localize the MDGs targets and our experience in MDGs will guide us in our pursuit of addressing the new challenges in the coming SDGs. Though it is a difficult task,we tried our best to compile and provide accurate information and data,so that it helps all concern of Palashbari Upazilla as well as others to evaluate health activities of our department. Important information and necessary issues you want to raise
This Upazilla Health complex has been upgraded as 50 beded hospital. Infrastructure of the hospital has been completed but its approval & sanctioned yet not got and necessary manpower yet not provided. X-ray machine, dental chair (for dental unit), OT light is urgently needed. The ambulance is old and decayed,so one ambulance is needed for proper service of the Upazilla. This health Complex has no Store ( general). The drainage system of the healthcomplex is totally damaged,so this should be re-constructed urgently. Finally I am happy to write this Health bulletin of 2016.This is very useful documents to understand health service and provide us useful advice for improvement in future.
