Important information and necessary issues you want to raise
Shaghata is a remote upazilla situated about 30 kms from the district head quarter. About 300,000 people are getting services from this health complex . Many positions of doctors,nurses & others support staffs are vacant. Infrastructure for 50 bed hospital has already been constructed but administrative approval is yet to get. Due to human resource crisis quality health service delivery is a big challenge. One U.S.G Machine & one Analyzer Machine is of utmost need. Time to time training for service providers will improve the quality of service. A large number of people of this upazilla are living in char areas of river Jamuna. Incorporation of DSF or similar project will improve EmOC services. Despite all constraints we are trying to improve overall health care delivery in Shaghata upazilla.
