It's my great pleasure to open this Health Bulletin of ulipur upazila. publication of upazila Health Bulletin is one of the most significant event in the health service delivery system at this upazila,It is an important step forward which can help for planning and implementation of community-friendly health program. This bulletin not only contains the health related information of the upazila but also a document that needs to fix the criteia for further planning of achieving the newly set Sustainable Development Goals(MDG)targets. Important information and necessary issues you want to raise
Ulipur is one of the upazila of kurigram district in Rangpur division and Northern part of Bangladesh. Out of 14 union of this upazila. 7 unioin are roughly affected by the river erosion. The people are very much neglected. Ignored from health service and living below the proverty line, Literacy rate is lower and people are not concious about health. The average length of hospital patients stay was two days, the upazila is highly populated. male:female ratio is about 50.5; 49.6. Here is only one 50 beded hospital, Doctors posting was about 17 in number in this last year. There was no pair for Emoc, Besides lot of barrious MMR is 110.16% NMR 25.7% in live birth in the upazila.We arrange safe delivery at is community clinic, DSF MHVS program smoothly running. All concerns are motivated and dedicated to serve the rural people of ulipur, and here is a good relationship among the service provider, upazila administration and NGOs.
