Preface

I am very glad to publish this health bulletin of this Upazila, Patnitala Upazila is Constituted with 11 Union & 33 Words and Total Population is 2,28,506. This Upazila is situated on the side of the river Atrai. 5 Sud-Centers, 1 RD, 31 Community Clinicis functioning here & fifty bed Hospital provided services to the people. This bulletin contains all the health related information of 2015. This bulletin is published to disseminate the information of this Upazila to other department and development partners of health. Ihope all the information of this bulletin will help for planning and bridging the gape in health services of this Upazila health Complex has many data, stored in this file.This health bulletin will help us to find constrains and also to see the result and achievements of 2015. The bulletin contains the status of MDG 4 and MDG 5.Which will help to localize the MDG targets. This health bulletin has also the information on safe drinking water and sanitation status of the Upazila. All the sanctioned and vacant posts are published in the bulletin of 2015. Ilike to take attention of the higher authority to take in to this issue. Finally I would like to congratulate the initiator of the health bulletin software for setting us one step ahead toward Digital Bangladesh.

Important information and necessary issues you want to raise
In this Upazila there is no X-ray facility now. The X-ray machine is repairable. We have communicated with the proper authority but they are not responding. We need fax machine, scanner, photocopy mechine, X-ray machine to be repaired as soon as possible although. I have corresponds with the appropriate authority several times.
