Preface

Welcome to Mithapukur upazila health bulletin 2016. I am very glad to publish this year health bulletin of Mithapukur upazila. This bulletin contains all the health related information in this upazila regarding of the year 2015.This bulletin is published to disseminate the Health Service information of Mithapukur upazila to other line department and development partners of health. I hope all the information of this bulletin will help for planning and bridging the gaps in health services of this upazila. This health bulletin will help us to find constrains and also to see the results and achievements of 2015 in the strategy of Health. The bulletin contains the status of MDG 4 and MDG 5 which will help to localize the MDG target and as well as implementation of SDG. This health bulletin has also the information on safe drinking water and sanitation status of the upazila. All the sanctioned and vacant posts are published in this bulletin of 2015.It also present the basic need to promoting health status. I like to take attention of the higher authority to look into to this issues. Finally I would like to congratulate the initiator of MIS and e-health sector Under DGHS for setting us one step ahead toward Digital Bangladesh. Thanks and Regards

Important information and necessary issues you want to raise
This is 2nd greater upazila in Bangladesh and also besides the Rangpur-Dhaka highway. We are badly needed to increase of bed as 100-beded Hospital including Trauma Centre. We also need major equipment like Digital X-ray machine,Ultrasonogram machine, Dental & other surgical equipment. I hope all of concern will take initiatives to matter of well service & management.
