Preface

I am very glad to published the Local Health Bulletin of Dacope Upazila Health Complex, Khulna. The statistics of different activities done here in health sector from January to December 2015 have been reported in the Local Health Bulletin. Dacope is situated at the coastal area and is a hard to rich as well as a remote upazila about 35 km away from Khulna headquarter. As a coastal Area there is main communication is river based transport. Yet, we are in better position to achieve MDG4 & Mdg5 and our achievement in other indicators are satisfactory as well. I also hope that the reports of health services in the bulletin will level gaps between the health officials and the common public in our society, So I Dr. Md. Mozammel Haque Nazamy personally thanks all officials concerned to the health services for such achievement. At the same time I hearty thank prof Dr. Dr. Deen Mohammad Nurul Haque Hon'ble DG(Health), Dr. Abul Kalam Azad (ADG Admin, Line Director-MIS) and every one associated with the publication of this Local Health bulletin, who give me directives and technical support in this assignment which will ultimately guide us to build a digital Bangladesh. Dr. Md. Mozammel Haque Nizamy Upazila Health & Family Planning Officer Dacope, Khulna.

Important information and necessary issues you want to raise
The EPI & Some other Activities are satisfactory. I would like to mention some important issues which help us to achieve better result in future. 1) infrastructure of this hospital should be modernized , 2) Number of Community Clinics should be increased. 3) All the repairable Instrument & furniture should be repaired as soon as possible. 4) All the Vacant post (Doctors & others) should be filled up with short time. 5) Activities of Health, Family Planning & other Health related NGO should be reported combined in a disconsolate prescribed forms . Finally I am very happy to develop this Local Health Bulletin of 2015. Because these documents will help us to compare our progress in upcoming years. This will help the public to understand health service and provide us the useful advice for advice for improvement of future Activities.
