Preface

Health bulletin is a picture of health status. It contains all health activities including manpower and infrastructure.It also represents public health status.It is published annually in a designed software. So that by analysing the bulletin,we can understand our present health status.It is also helpful for planning to improve our health condition. Fourteen Community clinic are running well.All CHCP are providing health services to people with special attention to child,mother and adolescent . Immunization programme is running successfully. Health education specially on personal hygiene,hand washing,sanitary latrine are delivered regularly. Natural disaster are mitigate by medical team.Searching for TB patient is conducted by field staff. Curative treatment at hospital is running well.Special services are provided from NCD Corner,IMCI Corner,Breast Feeding Corner,ORT Corner & VIA Centre for specific group of patients. I am grateful to all concern persons who contribute to develop this bulletin.Last of all I would like to thank Statistician and software designer.

Important information and necessary issues you want to raise
Dighalia Upazila is situted at Khulna city boarder.It consists of six union,two of which are surrunded by Khulna city corporation.Three union are river bounded like an island. One union is situated on the other side of river. Dighalia Upazila Health Complex is declared as 50 beded hospital without allocating budget & manpower.Out of 14 community cllinic one is shifted to a club due to risk of river erosion & crack of building.Construction of two more community clinic is under proposal. One union subcentre is situated in city corporation area.There is no infrastracture of union health sub centres in three union.There are also incomplete organogram of manpower of above three union sub centres. Emergency deparment of each health complex is a vital & sensitive part of health service.But unfortunately there is no organogram of manpower for emergency department. In both old & new extention building there is no option for store room.
