Preface

I am highly glad to publish Health Bulletin ,2016 of Patharghata Upazila.This Bulletin contains all heaith related information of 2015.Patharghata Upazila is a remote upazila of Barguna district.It is not directly join to Barguna by road communication. But there is direct road communication to Barisal division head quarter and Dhaka capital city.Patharghata upazila is at abiut 27 KM long and 6.5 KM wide.There are 7 Union, 38349 household and 162576 population jn Patharghata Upazila. There are 1 (one) UHC, 5 UH&FWC & 20 Community Clinics in this upazila. But saying with very sad that 10 Doctors are posted out of 28. 2 of them are deputed at Jeneral Hospital Barguna. .Only Undersined Manage treatment of this Hospital with other saff.

Important information and necessary issues you want to raise
In the year 2015 we could not give our maximum effort to improve the health status due to many reasons .here I like to mention some important factors which will help us to achieve good result in future.1. The vacant post will be filled immediately .our doctor and nurse need more IMCI training.3. all the repairable equipment should be repaired as soon as possible.It is a EmOC UHC but there are poor Cesarean held here for the lack of pairs Doctors of EoMC. Finally i am happy to publish this health bulletin of 2015 because this document will help us to compare our progress in upcoming years. This is very useful document and will help the public to understand health services ad to provide us the useful advice for improvement in future. Thanks all.
