Preface

It's a great pleasure to me that the health bulletin of Babuganj Upazila Health Complex containing all the health related information and data for the year 2015 is going to be published. This bulletin is published to disseminate the information of Babuganj Upazila to other related departments and development partners of health. I hope that information here with this bulletin will help for planning and bridging the gaps in health services of this Upazila. This health bulletin will also help us to find constrains and also to see the results and achievements of 2015. At the same time it will help us to point out the sectors to prioritize for further improvement. The bulletin contains the status of MDG 4 and MDG 5 related information which will help to localize the SDG targets. This health bulletin has also the information on safe drinking water and sanitation status of the Upazila. All the sanctioned and vacant posts are noted in this bulletin of 2015. I would like to seek attention of the higher authority to look into this issue. Finally I would like to congratulate all the concern people to publish this health bulletin and hope this bulletin will help us to take one step ahead towards digital Bangladesh.

Important information and necessary issues you want to raise
I am very happy that the construction work of new 19 bed building is going on full swing. I want to express my heartiest gratitude to the government for taking this initiative to strengthen the healthcare service of this upazila. I hope it will help us to extend our capacity and ensure better service delivery. In spite of insufficient manpower we are trying to overcome it by hard work.
