Preface

Health Bulletin is an annual constellation of health data system .The govt of Bangladesh has different issues to increase the health status of the people of Bangladesh . Some are aimed to treat the ailed people in different hospitals . Some are engaged to prevent communicable diseases at the field level . All the effects of them are reflected on the health bulletin . I have the previlage to publish the health bulletin-2015 on behalf of the upazila health complex , Nalchiti. Jhalokati . This is going to be published based on health data of 2015 . Which is sponsored by HPNSDP & the Minjstry of Health and Family welfare of Bangladesh .This Bulletin wiIl be able to give an overall idea about the health system delivery . There are positive works done by the health workers at the field level and hospitals . We have different constraints that might have some negative impact on the achievement of targets of MDG-4 and MDG-5 . Such as shortage of manpower , insufficient supply of logistics and poor communication system . This health bulletin will be able to give the present status of MDG-4 and MGD-5, availability of safe drinking water , sanitation status of rural areas etc . I would like to seek kind attention of the higher authority of Bangladesh health services for solving the constraints of Nalchiti upazila Health complex to accelerate the activities . Finally , I would like to thanks the MOHFW and DGHS for the evolution of Health Bulletin . Which is the mirror of Health system of Bangladesh . With Regards , DR . MD . FARUQUE ALAM UH & FPO UPAZILLA HEALTH COMPLEX NALCHITI, JHALOKATI

Important information and necessary issues you want to raise
Conclusion-- I am highly glad to give thanks to our superior authority like Directorate of MIS DGHS as well as to the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare ( MOHFW) for taking such a decision for publishing the Health Bulletin of every upazila Health Sectors. We may have many constrains for achievement of our targets but for the betterment of our annual activities . It will make a competition among us to perform every steps of individual job as it will be recorded in the Health Bulletin. The main lacking is the absent of pair doctors to EOC service which is very much essential urgently as the previous activities was good in this station. The general peoples urge the EOC service. The activities of TB control programe and normal laboratory is hampered ,as the single MT( lab) has gone for higher study , so,No MT(Lab) is working here. So the kindness of our higher authority may permit us to get the pair doctors. I can assure that the targets of Health activities including MDG goal will be achieved easily if this Health Bulletin publish yearly which will encourage physical & mental strength of our staffs. Last of all, I am remaining grateful to the Govt. of Bangladesh for sanctioning the fund which may increase gradually for finalization of yearly Health Bulletin . with Thanks , Dr. MD . FARUQUE ALAM UH & FPO, Nalchiti - Jhalokati.
