Preface

Lakhai is a small upazila in habiganj district. But It's population is large and socio-economic condition is poor. So people are not aware of health facilities and services. In this circumstances,we have to provide health service with our many limits.What we have done in the year 2015, the Local Health Bulletin-2016 (data belong to 2015) is the reflex of it. Local Health Bulletin-2016 contains all kinds of health related data of lakhai upazila. In this Local Health Bulletin 2016 we come to know the achievements of different health issues and also find out different problems of health service which help us to correct in coming year.We hope that this Local Health Bulletin will play vital role for implementation of future planning of different health related program. I would like to congratulate MIS (DGHS) under MOHFW for continuing to publish updated Local Health Bulletin to progress us one step ahead to establish digital Bangladesh.

Important information and necessary issues you want to raise
In fine, we would like to say we are trying to our level best to provide best health services to the people. Here we want to raise some important factors which will help us to perform better in future, 1. Internet speed & coverage must be upgraded to the rural area. 2. The vacant post should be filled up immediately,specially (Senior Staff Nurse, Pharmacist) 3. Repairable equipment should be repaired as soon as possible. 4. Digital camera, photocopy machine must need for digitalise of health information & service. 5. Ambulance should be supplied as soon as possible. 6. Logistics of HIS & e-Health should be supplied regularly. 7. Alternative power supply ( IPS, Solar panel) needs to uninterrupted service, 8. X-ray machine should be repaired immediately. 9.CSBA Trained Field Staff is Short,So Ist ANC is a little bit lower than R.P.W.
