Important information and necessary issues you want to raise
Health system of this upazilla is a teamwork of all the health professionals of different levels who are giving their best efforts to improve health status of the community. But, Kulaura being a large upazilla of 13 unions poses a challenge to its health professionals to satisfy the health need of the population up to their desired level. Moreover indoor facility of neighbouring upazilla Juri is inactive.So , virtually Kulaura UHC is delivering emergency and indoor service to the unions of Juri as well. So,health budget of Kulaura needs to be increased for procurement of drugs and other medical supplies , that will help us serve the population up to their desired level.There are also some hard to reach areas that makes it difficult for field stuff to fulfill their target despite their best effort. Lastly , most important thing is to raise the awareness of local population by massive health awareness building campaign and involving mass media and eminent local personalities in this endevour. It is also necessary to discourage local population to seek critical and important medical help from illegal and unqualified medical practitioners or quacks and involve local administration and law enforcement agencies in taking proper action and stringent measures against them.
