Preface

It is matter of great pleasure that Biswambharpur Upazila Health Complex of Sunamganj district is going to publish its Health Bulletin 2016. First of all I’ll express my heartiest thanks and gratitude to all concerned those are directly or indirectly involved with the Health Bulletin. This health bulletin is a flagship of healthcare status of this Upazila. Now Biswambharpur Upazila is the nearest Upazila from its district headquarter. Just few months ago Biswambharpur Upazila was a hard to reach area but it still remains one of the most underprivileged area of Sunamganj district. Thus there are so many constrains still preventing to reach the healthcare goal. Nowadays with the inauguration of a bridge on the river Surma opens a way of golden opportunity of development for this Upazila. This health bulletin will focus all the health related activities and achievements of Biswambharpur Upazila for the year 2015. This health bulletin will act as an index to evaluate and compare with previous year and also help to enhance the development of health related statuses and to identify problems for future. Important information and necessary issues you want to raise
Human resource issues must be solved for proper service delivery. Critical issues in human resource should be solved at national level by creating post. For example in 31 beded UHC there is 3 posts of WARD boy. They serve round the clock in a week having no leave. When one of them is in leave the work load goes to other two which decreases the efficiency. Same example we can draw in case of Sweeper and Aya. At the field level all CHCPs can be brought within a same network by providing corporate SIM with smart phone set with GPS tracker(location tracker is provided by SIM service provider in corporate SIM). With corporate SIM all CHCPs can be monitored as well as the phone can be used as local health care number in certain community.
