Preface

Kaliganj Upazilla Health Complex Health Bulletin 2015 Preface I am very Pleased to publish this health bulletin. This bulletin contains all the health related information of 2015. This bulletin is published to disseminate the information of kaliganj upazila to other line departments and development partners of health. I hope all the information of this bulletin will help us for planning and bridging the gaps in health services of the upazila . This health bulletin will help us to find constrains and also to see the result and achievements of 2015 . It will contains the status of MDG 4 and MDG 5 which will help us to localize the MDG targets . It also shows the information on safe drinking water and sanitation status of the upazila . All the sanctioned and vacant posts are published in this bulletin of 2015. I like to take attention of the higher authorities to look into of this issue . Finally i would like to congratulate the initiator of this health bulletin software for setting us one step ahead towards Digital Bangladesh. Important information and necessary issues for Kaliganj Upazilla Health Complex In the year 2015 we could not give our maximum efforts to improve the health status due to many reasons. I like to mention some important factors which will help us to achieve good results in future . Necessary issues that I want to raise are. 1) The vacant posts should be filled up immediately specially those of Doctors, Nurses.and other 3rd &4rth Class Employees. 2) A transport facility specially A Jeep for UH&FPO,with Driver and Fund for Fuel in very Necessary ,because for monitoring of field service and other facilities,specially Comunity Clinic and Union Sub-centres. 3) Training of doctors & nurses on IMCI & EOC. 4) All the repairable equipments should be repaired urgently . 5) We are in urgent need of repair of the x-ray machine. which is out of order from the very beginning of setting from many years (We have written several times to CMSD) 6) Water Pump is out of order for 2 years.(We have already writtenly Informed to the Health Engineering Department.) 7) Residential Quarte for Doctors and supporting staffs and Hospital boundary should be repaired by Health Engineering Department very urgently. 8) Some Community Clinic should be repair immediately by Health Engineering Department. 9) Being this Upazilla health complex is under comprehensive EOC programme hence EOC trained Doctors and Anaesthetists should be provided immediately. 10) Security of Doctor ,nurse and other supporting staff at emergency facility is very urgent. This document will help us to compare our progress in upcoming years .This will help the public to understand health services and to provide us the useful advice for improvement in future. Finally I am very happy to Publish this health bulletin of 2015 Which is Published in 2016.
