Preface

The Health bullatin 2016 contains all health related information of 2015.This bulletin is published to dissseminate the informatiom of Upazilla and development of health. I hope all the information of this bulletin will help for planning and bridging the gaps in health services of this Upazilla. Government health office has many data stored in the fine . This health bulletin will help us to find constrains and also to see the results and achievements of 2015.The health contains the status of MDG 4 & MDG 5 Which will help to localize the MDG targets.This health bulletin has also the information on safe drinking water and sanitation status of the Upazilla.All the sanctioned and vacant posts are published in this bulletin of 2015.I like to attention of the higher authority to look into to this issue.Finally i would like congratulate the initiator of the health bulletin software for setting us one step ahead toward digital Bangladesh. Important information and necessary issues you want to raise
Last year, we could not give our maximum efforts to improve the health status due to many reasons.This Upazila Health Complex has declared 50 beded Hospital but yet the manpower of 50 beds are not approved. Here I want to mention some important factors for attention higher authority which will help us to achieve good results in future. This Upazila Health Complex took part in the celebration of all famous day which are related with health works with the collaboration of some NGO's and Upazila administration. Pirganj Upazila Health Complex also achieved the best award for the best HSS performance among the all Upazila Health Complexes in Rangpur division by the Health Minister of Bangladesh Govt.Now in this Upazila there are 27(Twenty Seven) CC and 26(Twenty six) CHCP . So, 1(One) new CHCP should be appointed for Pirganj Upazila under Thakurgaon district.This Upazila Health Complex though running smoothly behind short of one Paediatric Consultant,one Surgery Consultant ,one Medicine Consultant and one Medical officer. Finally, I am very happy to write this bulletin in 2016 because this document will help us to compare our progress with 2014 and 2015.This is one of the most important document which will help to understand the population about our health services and provide us the useful advice for improvement in future day by day as the Prime Minister of Bangladesh declare the visions of 2021 to build up Bangladesh as a Digital Bangladesh in all sectors .
